On March 21, the headquarters production base of Somany Ceramics Limited in Haryana, a suburb of New Delhi, the capital of India, ushered in a grand launching ceremony for a new phase of twice-fired high-end porcelain tile production line. Modena’s two Infinity double-layer ultra-wide kilns will help Somany embark on a new journey. After being put into operation, the annual production of ceramic tiles at the Somany headquarters production base will increase by nearly 6 million square meters, which will empower the Somany Group to further meet the strong demand of high-end ceramic tile consumer groups in and around New Delhi, the capital of India.
This cooperation between Modena and Somany is the eighth cooperation between the two parties in the entire production area of India. Historical cooperation projects include a glazed floor tile production line in Kadi in central India, and a full-glazed and double-fired tile production line in Kassar, the northern headquarters. The entire project line includes the large-scale glazed tile project in Sudha in southern India, as well as the Acer micro-powder brick project and Amora twice-fired porcelain tile project in the west.
