What is a flange?
Flange, also called flange or flange, is used to connect pipes and pipes to each other and to the pipe ends. There are holes on the flange, bolts tightly connect the two flanges, and the flanges are sealed with gaskets.
Flange is a disc-shaped part, which is the most common in pipeline engineering. Flanges are used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for the connection of pipelines. Where a flange is required to connect the ends of two pipelines, install a flange on each side. Screw flanges can be used for low-pressure pipelines, and welding flanges can be used for pressures above 4 kg. Add a sealing gasket between the two flanges and tighten them with bolts. Traditional flanges are made of steel, but they will be corroded after being used for a long time and have a short service life.

1. High hardness: Ceramic materials have high hardness, such as alumina Rockwell hardness is HRA80-90;
2. Wear resistance: Measured by professional research institutions, its wear resistance is equivalent to 266 times that of manganese steel and 171.5 times that of high chromium cast iron. 3. High temperature resistance: Alumina ceramic and zirconia ceramic parts can be used for a long time at high temperatures of 1050-1750℃;
4. Corrosion resistance: Ceramics generally do not rust, are not afraid of oxidation, and are acid and alkali resistant;
5. Good insulation: Ceramic materials have good insulation, such as the breakdown voltage of alumina ceramics: 1 mm 15KV (kilovolts);
6. Its density is 3.7~3.95g/cm³, which is only half that of steel, which can greatly reduce the equipment load.
